Summer Library Program events are made possible in partnership with the Mississippi Library Commission and resources from the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP).

🎨🪁 Kites, Pinwheels & Snowballs! 🍧🌬️

Join us for a fun-filled day where everyone will learn how to make their very own homemade kite and colorful pinwheel!
🎨 Get creative and decorate your masterpieces
🏃‍♂️ Take them home and enjoy some outdoor fun

And don’t miss out on a cool treat from Mrs. Mary's Snowballs – the perfect way to chill out after crafting!

Children's Programming

Children age six to ten (6-10) may not be left alone at the library and must have a supervising parent/guardian or designated caregiver 14 years or older.

Photography & Filming

HCLS may take photos, videos, and audio recordings during events and activities to use in its promotional and marketing materials, on its website, and on social media platforms.  Any individual that does not wish the Library to use a photograph or video of them or their child should inform Library staff prior to such photographs or videos being taken.
