Embrace lifelong learning with the GOOD to KNOW! program series featuring guest presentations and workshops.

This is a 3-day cooking class for tweens, 4th grade through 6th grade.  You will only sign up for the first day and the calendar will add your child to the other days.  The class is on Monday, July 15th, Tuesday, July 16th, and Wednesday, July 17th from 2:00 to 4:00.  You must attend all 3 classes to receive a Certificate and graduation goodies.  There will be a little graduation ceremony at the end of the 3rd day.

Activities:

  • Taste new foods and flavors
  • Learn how food is grown on the farm
  • Use math skills by measuring
  • Use reading skills following recipes
  • Use time management in meal preparation
  • Practice food and kitchen safety
  • Play games and be physically active
