Event Details

Tracie Sempier is an extension specialist located at the University of Southern MS Gulf Coast Research Lab in Ocean Springs.  As part of a partnership with the National Severe Storms Laboratory, she has been conducting severe weather training in coastal MS and AL.  Refreshments will be served.

Come prepared for hands-on activities. We will cover the topics below:

  • Actions you can take to protect yourself and your property
  • Basic first aid and equipment safety so you can help in times of trouble
