HCLS is pleased to provide this training workshop for oral history projects in the community, presented by Deanne Stephens, Ph.D., professor of history at the University of Southern Mississippi, Associate Director of the School of Coastal Resilience, and Executive Director of the Gulf South Historical Association.

This workshop will provide an introduction to planning oral history projects, an overview of equipment, conducting interviews, and resources available to community archiving projects at your library.

All are welcome to register to attend.  This workshop is intended for groups or individuals looking to capture and preserve our community's stories for tomorrow, whether you are just starting out or hoping to expand your knowledge.
