Join fellow BSL Senior Citizens for coffee, light snacks, and conversation. Weekly themes will vary.

Sew Your Own - work on your own sewing projects

This is a beginner's sewing class. Everything is provided for you for the first class.  The first class is very important; the instructor will go over how to work the sewing machine.

Join instructor Suzanne for a fun, free Zumba class for all abilities. 

Club Wednesday is a club for individuals of all abilities. We get together monthly for enrichment, socialization and crafting. Anyone is welcome to join in the fun. Call Judy at the circulation desk for more information.

Scam Prevention

Come one, come all, to the Kiln Library to "meetup" and socialize with homeschool students (ages 5-19) in our area! This is an opportunity for homeschool families to meet and network about everything homeschool and more.

HCLS brings the library to you at Wenesdays at the Depot.

Join our crochet group every other Saturday at BSL to meet fellow crocheters or learn the basics of crochet: stitches, tension and chaining, hook holding, and more. 

As we prepare for the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, the museum plans activities that reflect the heart of our community. The first is a book signing. "To Ride a Storm Surge" will be released on August 1st.
