The Hancock Community Archive is an initiative of the HCLS Digital Archives—aimed at capturing and preserving the cultural heritage and local history of Hancock County, Mississippi.

Join us for this ongoing series to learn about our collections, donate materials for scanning, and hear stories from members of our community.
Join us as we spotlight our historica periodicals collection—including 87 years and over 5,600 issues of the Sea Coast Echo. Learn about our online access platform, including how to search, share, and help us improve our collections.
We will discuss tips and tricks for using online periodicals for research, how to clip and save, and how to use Historypin to share and engage with local history online.
